SHIFTS AND HOURS

  • We have a full-time night position available. (6:30 pm to 7:00 am)

  • Scheduled Shifts are 12 Hours, 3 Days per week with shift differentials available

  • Part-Time Medication Aides Shifts can be flexible according to your own schedule, great if you are completing your Nursing Course.

  • All Full Time Medication Aides Rotate Weekend Shifts.

TRAINING AND ORIENTATION

Keystone Treatment Center is committed to Training and Safety. All New Hire Medication Aides will attend a 2 Day Facility Orientation and Patient Treatment Program Overview before spending 2 Weeks in Unit Orientation with a Preceptor. We can accommodate shadow shifts for interested candidates!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE MEDICATION AIDE (MEDAID)

  • Provide Nursing care, as directed by the Nurse Staff and in conformance with the established standards and administrative policies

  • Communicate clearly and effectively to patients, their family members, guests and other members of the health care team.

  • Passes and charts daily medications as directed by nurse

  • Provides therapeutic listening and guidance as required

  • May transfer or transport patients

  • Performs room checks

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Previous experience in behavioral health setting knowledge and experience working with the population of the facility preferred.
