Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Weekend Days Northeast Missouri $10K Sign-On Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

As a Generalist, you'll play a vital role in patient care by performing a broad range of diagnostic laboratory testing. You will:

• Conduct routine and complex lab tests using established protocols
• Analyze and interpret results; escalate critical values as needed
• Operate and maintain sophisticated lab equipment and instruments
• Perform quality control and preventative maintenance procedures
• Collaborate with providers to determine appropriate testing
• Participate in continuing education, seminars, and lab improvement initiatives
• Support lab safety and proper storage of hazardous materials
• Assist in laboratory proficiency testing and documentation

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent required
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through ASCP, AMT, or equivalent agency
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology preferred

Experience & Skills:

• Prior experience as a Generalist preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• $10,000 Sign-On and Retention Bonus
• $4,000 upon first paycheck, $2,000 after 6, 12, and 18 months (2-year commitment required)
