Medical Technologist I - Clinical Pathology - Cornell University : Job Details

The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a Medical Technologist to join the Clinical Pathology team at the Animal Health Diagnostic Center. The Medical Technologist I reports to the lab manager and performs comprehensive, routine clinical pathology diagnostic testing on veterinary specimens. Key testing areas include Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis. This role adheres to AAVLD standards and follows organizational and unit policies and procedures. Additionally, the position involves basic troubleshooting of testing issues and requires a collaborative, supportive team approach to effectively meet service goals. Required Qualifications. Bachelors degree in medical technology or a related biological science discipline with up to two years of laboratory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
