Shift:7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local&travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift&Scheduling: Will work every other weekend. No On-Call

Float Requirement: Will float between 2 Med Surg units as needed.

Unit details: Open to accommodating block schedule Discuss schedule requests with manager. teaching hospital experience preferred. Community Hospital experience preferred. Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler

Required Credentials: SSN required at time of submittal

Experience: Starting IVs required.

Parking: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation

Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Common Diagnoses: CHFCOPD,Post-op Ort, Lap Cholecystectomy, Appendectomy, Kidney Disease/Dialysis, Constipatio , Dehydration,Small Bowel Obstruction, Upper respiratory infection

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 2

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required after submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required after submission
