Job Description :
Position supports Mercy Hospital Medical Staff by coordinating the following: - Medical Staff review and approval for initial applications, reappointment applications, supports the Medical Staff as a resource regarding bylaws. Develops the Medical Staff Board Report to the Board of Trustees. - Researches and develops department documents. Maintains current knowledge regarding CMS, OK State Health Department and Joint Commission standards and requirements. - Collaborates with other hospital based departments to assist in creating agendas, recording minutes, obtaining and analyzing clinical activity reports and coordinating projects with hospital leadership and other departments. - Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with Bachelors Degree preferred. Experience: Medical Staff Services and credentialing experience required.
