The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) supports the U.S. Aesthetic, Prescription, and Consumer Business Unit by developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical investigators, and professional organizations. The MSL provides scientific exchange, gathers insights, and supports Galderma's portfolio of products and services.

Responsibilities

• Identify and support external experts and influencers across core specialties; prepare engagement plans.
• Engage with academic and clinical experts, social media influencers to understand needs, identify gaps, and explore opportunities.
• Identify and recommend clinical investigators for trials, especially underrepresented groups.
• Facilitate research proposals and Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT).
• Develop educational messaging to increase awareness and advocacy, including training on GAIN injector use.
• Act as a scientific expert for internal and external audiences, including training external speakers and advisory boards.
• Attend congresses, stay current with scientific literature, monitor social media influencers, and provide insights to teams.
• Support research by identifying investigators and providing feedback.
• Respond to scientific inquiries and utilize modern technology platforms.
• Ensure scientific data integrity in promotional materials, if requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor or advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD).
• 2-5 years of related experience in medical, regulatory, or R&D roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Experience in Dermatology is required.
• Proficiency with technical platforms and MS Office.
• Understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and US regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Meeting planning, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Strategic thinking and ability to work in a team in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to build relationships with medical professionals.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.
