Medical Scheduler/ Records Clerk - NaphCare : Job Details

The Medical Scheduler will schedule appointments and maintain the medical records for all BOP medical appointments on and off-site. Duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:Scheduling various medical appointments, including on-site clinic visits and off-site specialist appointments, as recommended by medical staff. Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records, including entering consultation requests into the system and managing patient information. Arranging transportation for inmates to and from appointments, ensuring timely and secure transfers. Assist with reviewing medical records and authorization scenarios Assist with maintaining a calendar and utilize technology to maximize efficiencies of the scheduling process. Effectively communicating with healthcare staff, patients, and other relevant parties regarding appointments, scheduling changes, and other medical information.
