Medical Scheduler - NaphCare : Job Details

The Medical Scheduler is responsible for managing and coordinating healthcare appointments for the facility. Duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:Scheduling various medical appointments, including on-site clinic visits and off-site specialist appointments, as recommended by medical staff. Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records, including entering consultation requests into the system and managing patient information. Arranging transportation for inmates to and from appointments, ensuring timely and secure transfers. Effectively communicating with healthcare staff, patients, and other relevant parties regarding appointments, scheduling changes, and other medical information. Adhering to all relevant security protocols, confidentiality standards, and HIPAA regulations. Utilizing computer systems for scheduling, data entry, and report generation, often handling large volumes of data.
