Step into a career with purpose-where each day, your support helps change lives.What You'll Do:As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors-setting the tone for a positive care experience. You'll manage front desk operations, patient check-ins, and scheduling, playing a key role in our day-to-day flow and operational success.Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with warmth, compassion, and professionalism
- Confirm and update insurance and demographic details at each visit
- Schedule and coordinate provider appointments, adjusting as needed
- Assist patients who missed appointments to encourage treatment continuity
- Handle prior authorizations and explain patient financial responsibilities
- Distribute, verify, and scan forms, including handbooks and intake documents
- Collect co-pays and process payments; set up payment plans when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized front office and uphold patient confidentiality
- Provide courteous, effective communication by phone and in person
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to a supportive work environment
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced medical office required
- Customer service and/or healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Proficient with EMRs, Microsoft Office, and phone systems
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Compassionate mindset and a desire to support patients in recovery
