The Radiation Oncology Center (ROC) is seeking an ABR certified Masters Level Medical Physicist. This position will provide medical physics services with another licensed, board-certified Medical Physicist. #This physicist will be responsible for providing support for all aspects of clinical medical physics and work closely with a Certified Medical Dosimetrist. The individual should be a skilled planner with Eclipse for conventional 3D, HDR, IMRT/VMAT, SBRT, and SRS as a backup to the CMD, as well as knowledgeable with the equipment in use. Experience with ARIA preferred. This individual is expected to be an active participant in the development and implementation of planning, treatment, and QA protocols. Although we work hard to maintain a #normal# work schedule, this is a hands-on position covering the clinic during normal business hours, as well as those unique physics activities that have to wait until non-clinic hours. The successful candidate will require minimal supervision, be a self-starter, take initiative, and be able to take direction. # The Saratoga Hospital (TSH) is a community-based hospital located in beautiful Upstate New York. The hospital is COC accredited and the ROC is ACRO accredited. The ROC current environment includes a GE Discovery RT simulator with deviceless 4D, Adaptiiv 3D printed bolus (in-house), ARIA v16.1 with an upgrade to v18 in the next year or two. Vault One contains a Varian 21EX (slated for future replacement) and a VariSource HDR (minimal HDR usage). Vault Two contains a TrueBeam v3.0, with Calypso installed. The Calypso system is being used for DIBH and with some implanted beacon applications. Minimum Qualifications:

* Graduation from a CAMPEP approved Masters or DMP program for Therapeutic Medical Physics

* Successful completion of a CAMPEP approved Therapeutic Medical Physics residency program

* If selected, obtain a license by NYS Dept of Education for Medical Physics
