GENERAL DUTIES
  • Ensure the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy as prescribed by the Medical Practitioner, including developing and evaluating treatment plans, and managing radiation measurement equipment.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment, serve as the point of contact for machine repairs, perform calibration checks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive Quality Management Program to monitor and improve radiation oncology processes.
  • Implement and evaluate a radiation safety program to ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards.
  • Provide training in radiation physics and safety for medical staff and students.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum 2 years of clinical medical physics experience.
    • Master's Degree in Medical Physics, Radiological Physics, or related field; Ph.D. preferred.
    • Board eligibility or certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by recognized boards.
    • Knowledge of radiation therapy systems, troubleshooting, and planning systems.
    • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
