Medical Laboratory Technician - PRIDE Health : Job Details

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) to join a hospital laboratory in Kenedy, TX. This travel role is ideal for a well-rounded generalist with strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests with accuracy and efficiency
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, including performing calibrations
• Ensure all testing is compliant with CLIA, OSHA, and laboratory safety regulations
• Conduct and document quality control procedures, proficiency testing, and instrument maintenance
• Analyze results, identify discrepancies, and communicate critical values promptly to clinical teams
• Maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities and support inspections as needed

Qualifications:

• ASCP Certification required (MLT or MT)
• Active Texas license required
• 3–5 years of generalist clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a hospital environment

• Location: San Juan Capistrano CA 92675
• Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Week 1: Thursday–Saturday

Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Sunday

• Length: 8 Week Contract
• Pay Rate: $45 - $51/ Hour
