Medical Laboratory Assistant - PRIDE Health : Job Details

Pride Health is hiring a Laboratory Clerk to support our client's medical facility based in Lake Success, NY 11042. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

• Accession specimens according to the types of requisition received (manual or electronic).
• Check the patient's name on the specimens and on the requisition to ensure that the patient identification matches.
• Enter all pertinent patient information into the system, all tests requested/ordered, and any relevant comments.
• Responsible for disinfecting his/her work station.
• Separate specimens to the appropriate laboratory department.

Qualifications:

• 1+ Years of experience working in a Laboratory.

• Location: 2800 Marcus Ave, Suite 103, Lake Success, NY 11042
• Shift start & end times: 5pm to 1am evenings Monday to Friday some Saturdays and Sundays
• Will work take place in a patient's home? No
