Medical Lab Tech II (MLT II) - Baptist Health of Arkansas : Job Details

Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT II) provide information for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease by conducting medical laboratory tests, procedures, and analyses with limited supervision. The MLT's job includes preparing the samples for examination, using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation, performing numerous complicated tests simultaneously and accurately interpreting the results in a timely manner in order to enable the clinician to utilize the data when making treatment decisions. Other information:Entry Level Position with an Associate degree in chemical science, biological science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution. National Registry for Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP or equivalent) preferred. Must be registry eligible. Successfully meets all standards of a MLT I. Has at least 12 months clinical lab experience. Works efficiently under supervision of experienced personnel.
