Medical Instrumentation Machine Technician (Evenings) - SUNY Downstate Medical Center : Job Details

The Department of Ambulatory Dialysis at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Instrumentation Machine Technician / TH Medical Instrumentation Specialist. The successful candidate will: Prepare and repair Hemodialysis equipment for treatments and use; monitor calibrations of machines, related equipment as per manufactures guidelines: responsible for maintenance, emergency repairs and servicing of equipment. disassemble equipment and repair/replace defective parts: reassemble, adjust and calibrate precision components. perform analysis and isolate of mechanical or electronic malfunctions. inspect and test equipment and apparatus to insure specified functional qualities. Perform preventive maintenance and quality control. Conduct staff teaching and in-services. cleans and sanitizes equipment using appropriate agents.
