VCA New Hartford Animal Hospital located in New Hartford, NY is looking for a Medical Director who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team. We are located at the foothills of the Adirondack mountains and our local New Hartford Schools are ranked some of the highest in the country. We are an hour from Syracuse and 1.5 hours from Albany, both large cities! We have a professional hockey team (The Utica Comets), several community colleges as well as our private university, Utica College, many community events including the Boilermaker road race (where runners come from all over the world to participate), the Stanley Theater which provides off Broadway plays, as well as some of the best Italian restaurants in the country! We partner with local rescue groups, the Herkimer County Humane Society and Freedom Guide dogs to provide high quality medicine at a cost savings for them.
