In this role, you'll combine clinical expertise with operational leadership, guiding both patient care and the program's strategic growth. You'll have the chance to create clinical pathways, oversee utilization review, and help drive operational and financial excellence—leaving a lasting legacy in geriatric care.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care at least 1–2 days per week to stay connected to frontline needs
- Educate, mentor, and develop providers—supporting one highly skilled clinician and one newer to geriatrics and PACE
- Collaborate with operations and finance to review P&L and evaluate ROI on care delivery decisions
- Design and implement systems and processes to address gaps from prior lack of on-site medical leadership
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align care quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction with the organization's mission
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (Geriatrics preferred)
- Proven leadership in value-based care environments; stewardship mindset for people, resources, and patients
- Experience in FQHC settings highly desirable
- Skilled in P&L review and operational ROI analysis
- Track record of building and leading provider teams, with a passion for education and mentorship
Your First Six Months
- Elevate provider performance through targeted education and training
- Implement new operational systems to address care delivery gaps
- Maintain a consistent patient care presence to ensure alignment between strategic vision and daily practice
