Medical Device Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the manufacturing of medical devices, specializing in catheter assembly under a microscope. This role requires adherence to strict guidelines and the ability to work closely with engineers to ensure product quality and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Use a microscope and production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds.

  • Operate tools and equipment, and complete documentation as required.

  • Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks.

  • Work directly with engineers and supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality.

  • Assist engineers in developing process documentation.

  • Perform inventory counts.

  • Execute other duties as assigned, with verbal instructions for duties to be performed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical device assembly and production or small electronics.

  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or prototyping experience.

  • Experience in manufacturing catheter products is a plus.

  • Ability to use required safety equipment when performing lab work.

  • Prior experience with microscopes and medical assembly.

  • Previous cleanroom experience.

  • Ability to understand and perform in-process inspections to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
