Local Contract Opportunity: Medical Assistant – Staten Island, NYProject Dates: September 2, 2025 – September 29, 2025Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPay Rate: $24–$27 per hour (based on experience)Are you a Medical Assistant with experience in occupational health screening, urgent care, or high-volume outpatient settings? We're seeking a reliable and skilled Medical Assistant to support a temporary project this September at a busy Staten Island based clinic.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient intake, collect vitals, and manage specimen collection
• Assist with clinical exams and medical testing
• Provide front desk coverage and patient registration support
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and assist with administrative duties
• Support clinic flow and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards

Requirements:

• Phlebotomy experience is required; must be confident and skilled with blood draws
• Prior experience in occupational health, urgent care, or outpatient settings preferred
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments

Required Documentation:

• BLS Certification (AHA)
• TB Test (within the last 12 months)
• Physical Exam (within the last 12 months)
• MMR Vaccination
• Hepatitis B Vaccine or Declination Form
