Job Highlights

  • Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide general front office support
  • Check patients in and out, complete registration, and collect co-payments
  • Verify insurance information and assist with other administrative tasks as needed
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs, medications, allergies, and reason for visit
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vitals, administering injections, and phlebotomy when required

Candidate Profile

  • Current CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross are required
  • Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant with a nationally recognized accrediting body preferred but not required
  • 1+ year of relevant experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred
  • Relevant soft skills include communication and collaboration

  • On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience
