- Provides direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients, under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Completes patient assessments including checking a patient's vitals, physical exam, and obtaining the patient's medical history.
- Assists in preoperative, postoperative, and relevant health teaching for patients and family.
- Shares responsibility for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
- Participates in team conferences, sharing knowledge, information, and ideas among team members.
- Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
- Participates in emergency care.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Current CMA/RMA Certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months of clinical experience required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
