YOUR ROLE:

As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential clinical care to our patients. This position requires a passion for patient care and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Warmly greet patients in the waiting area, exam room, or laboratory.
• Maintain open communication regarding wait times and the next steps in the treatment process.
• Respond to patient concerns promptly, seeking help in emergencies or hazardous situations.
• Conduct follow-up calls with urgency to ensure patient needs are met.
• Assist front desk staff in patient check-in/out procedures as necessary.
• Accurately obtain and document patient vital signs, brief history, current medications, allergies, and other relevant information.
• Support patient transfers and assist with procedures under the provider's supervision.
• Complete required documentation related to patient visits based on established protocols.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience
• Preferred: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
• BLS Certification
