The Summit Health Medical Assistant (MA) is a multi-skilled health professional who works collaboratively on a dynamic multidisciplinary team to provide a wide range of duties and responsibilities in a manner that places an emphasis on quality of care and customer service. Under the direction of the Primary Care Provider, Clinical Practice Manager and Office Supervisor, the MA participates in team-based care by assisting with structuring the patient flow, providing direct and in-direct patient care, assisting with procedures and clerical duties. He/ She will add value to care team through coordinated, efficient, and effective collaboration with patient, family and care team.
