McKinley Health Center aims to provide high-quality ambulatory healthcare and health education to students and medical expertise to University leadership. The Center is accredited through the Accreditation Associate for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Employees at MHC are required to provide proof of certain immunizations according to recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) guidelines. Our staff works on campus with an academically talented and ethnically diverse student population, including international students totaling 22.2 percent of the total student population, 18.8 percent for Asian American students, 11 percent for Latinx/e students, 5.0 percent for African American students, and 3.2 percent for multiracial students, with a total enrollment of over 56,000 students.
Job SummaryAssists both physicians and nurses in the day-to-day operation of the clinics; performs simple procedures related to the care of patients and clerical duties as necessary.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesPosition involves remaining in motion for several hours at a time and moving items weighing upwards of 20 lbs.

This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 4547 - Medical Assistant position, appointed on a 9-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 9/15/2025. Hourly rate for this position is $21.02 per hour; work schedule is 9:00am - 5:30pm with occasional Saturdays. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
