Medical Assistant – Full Time

Mount Kisco, NY

Monday–Friday: 7:45 AM–5:30 PM | Weekends: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM (based on office needs)

Dress Code: Navy Scrubs

5 Days/Week | Travel Required (as needed) to nearby locations: Yorktown, Briarcliff, Somers, Jefferson Valley

Top Responsibilities:

• Prepares patient and treatment rooms; sterilizes medical equipment
• Rooms patients, obtains health history, and measures/documents vital signs (pulse, temperature, BP, height, weight)
• Documents patient care and medical history using NextGen EMR
• Assists physicians with minor, in-office procedures
• Schedules appointments, completes prior authorizations, processes medication refills, handles referrals, answers calls, and completes necessary paperwork
• Performs CLIA waived testing
• Administers injections or treatments and performs routine lab tests
• Maintains all Practice Health and Safety Standards
• Complies with Medical Assistant Certification Procedure by becoming certified (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA) within 9 months of employment

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certification (preferred or within 9 months of hire)
