Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the flu clinic across several sites, floating between local clinics weekly. This position involves working with patients of various age ranges who come in to receive the flu shot. The primary responsibilities include rooming patients, conducting patient check-ins, checking vitals, updating health records, and scheduling appointments.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for their flu shot appointments.
• Conduct patient check-ins and verify necessary information.
• Check and record patient vitals accurately.
• Update and maintain patient health records.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage clinic scheduling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• MA Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with Epic systems

Work Environment

This role is based in the flu clinic, with two main locations in Palo Alto and San Jose. The San Jose sites include locations in Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Los Gatos, Santa Clara, and Morgan Hill. The Palo Alto sites include East Palo Alto, Redwood City, San Carlos, and Los Altos. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
