Medical Assistant II (40 hours) Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday - ATRIUS HEALTH : Job Details

Under general supervision, performs expanded and advanced level medical assistant duties including but not limited to identifying and resolving concerns regarding patient satisfaction, patient flow, and compliance with procedures and guidelines. Typically provides direct clinical support to one or more clinicians. Demonstrating a high level of competence provides back-up coverage for support staff. Works to improve clinical efficiencies of the operation by determining urgency and priority of walk-ins, add-on patients and patient consults. Provides direct clinical and clerical support to clinicians. In some cases may support more than one department. EDUCATION/ LICENSES/ CERTIFICATIONS - High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, Hi. SET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit or a Medical Assistant Certification required.
