We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the Family Medicine suite onsite Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:30pm. As true partners to our providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the care team. The ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable Medical Assistant who is confident in their clinical abilities and genuinely enjoys variety. We ideally aim to have our clinical support staff members working 1:1 or 1:2 with assigned providers, but they do cross-cover, rotate, and collaborate with other providers as needed. They can see upwards of 20+ patients per day. Responsibilities include:
We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned departments; however, you may also be asked to float to other departments in the building during orientation (for training/precepting purposes) or during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances (for cross-coverage purposes).
QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Medical Assisting preferred.

Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
Experience: Direct MA experience or medical field work 1-2 years required
