Medical Assistant - Doylestown Cardiology - Full Time - Days - Doylestown Health : Job Details

Responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on assignment, as well as assisting providers with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Patient care responsibilities 2. Clerical responsibilities 3. Environmental responsibilities 4. Organizational responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited vocational institution preferred. If registered, current MA registration. Experience: One year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office preferred. Experience in cardiology preferred.
