**Employment Type:**Full time**Shift:**Day Shift**Description:****Medical Assistant - Coumadin Clinic - AMH Campus - Full Time**Job Purpose:Provides medical assistance under the direction and supervision of an Anticoagulation Management pharmacist or RN taking into account patients' special needs. Assistant pharmacist or RN with patient examination and INR monitoring. Interact with patients and other physician offices to assist with follow up, appointments, questions, etc. Assist in outreach activities to increase enrollment in the Anticoagulation Management Clinic. Is accountable to patient, family, peers and supervisor for the totality of work performed in order that the organization can fulfill its mission of providing quality anticoagulation management within the community.Minimum Qualifications:- AAS degree and/or graduate of accredited school in medical assistingExperience:One year experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in an anticoagulation management setting_Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.65__Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
