Medical Assistant/Clinical Assistant - Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company : Job Details

Facilitates communication between the patient and the provider during patient care:o Collects and shares pertinent information with the provider.o Receives and acts on directives from the provider. Responsible for preparing patients for visits with the providers. Duties include but are not limited to, rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vitals, preparing supplies for wound care, dressing changes, reviewing intake paperwork, pulling up radiology images, prepping injection materials, and accurately entering data into the EMR system. Assists in cast and soft goods application as well as the removal of casts, staples, and sutures. Maintains exam room standards. Rooms should be restocked at the end of each day. Rooms and tables should be cleaned as needed during business hours and at the end of each day. Monitors biohazard and sharps containers and replaces them as needed.
