Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician Full Time - Pure Aesthetics : Job Details

Pure Aesthetics, recently named one of Florida Trend's Best Companies to Work For two years in a row, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Aesthetician licensed in Florida to deliver medical spa and light-based treatments. The ideal candidate will be experienced or certified in RF Microneedling (e.g., Morpheus8), laser hair removal, IPL, and advanced skincare.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Pure Aesthetics Medical Aesthetician is responsible for meeting with clients for their skincare and light-based treatment needs and helping them reach their goals. The aesthetician provides careful assessments and ongoing mentoring for each client.

Aesthetic Technology Treatments:

• Provide advanced skincare treatments including HydraFacial, DiamondGlow, dermaplaning, Microneedling and chemical peels.
• Perform radiofrequency microneedling treatments (e.g., Morpheus8) under physician delegation and supervision.
• Administer non-ablative laser and light-based treatments, including:
• Laser hair removal
• IPL photofacials (e.g., Lumecca)
• Skin resurfacing / rejuvenation therapies
• Follow established safety protocols, record treatment parameters, and monitor patient response during and after treatments.
• Perform comprehensive consultations and develop corresponding treatment plans.
• Deliver skincare services using appropriate settings and in accordance with sanitation protocols.
• Educate clients on treatment processes, including pre- and post-care guidelines.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ensure proper sanitation and safety of treatment rooms and devices in accordance with medical and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers (PA/NP), aestheticians, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, obtain informed consent, and guide them through pre- and post-treatment care.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE & COMMUNICATION

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships to support satisfaction and loyalty.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Deliver exceptional guest service to all clients, including internal team members.
• Promote current specials, additional services, and retail products.

OPERATIONAL & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

• Maintain a clean, organized service area and ensure adequate supplies.
• Represent Pure Aesthetics in a professional manner aligned with company values and policies.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a healthy team culture.
• Actively participate in and support ongoing training and staff meetings.

MARKETING & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

• Create and publish engaging social media content to support brand visibility.
• Attend office functions and represent the practice at community events.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Florida Esthetician License (Facial Specialist or Full Specialist License)
• Certified Laser Hair Removal Technician in accordance with Florida regulations
• Maintains continuing education hours as needed to keep license active (required)
• Knowledgeable about various medical spa services and skincare procedures
• Compelling personal and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport
• Physical requirements – Should be able to lift up to 30 pounds and maneuver through tight spaces
• Ability to work under medical director supervision for all laser and energy-based procedures
• Strong communication, professionalism, and client care skills
• Knowledge of contraindications, safety protocols, and documentation standards

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Previous hands-on experience with:
• Morpheus8 or similar RF microneedling systems
• IPL / laser platforms for hair removal and skin rejuvenation (e.g., Lumecca, Diolaze, etc.)
• Familiarity with InMode, or comparable aesthetic platforms
