Medicaid State Data Consultant - Guidehouse : Job Details

We are seeking Consultants with experience and knowledge of validating, loading, processing, and analyzing Medicaid data and detailed member data across various states, public health entities, and public data sources using SAS. These analyses will inform work with state Medicaid, public health, or state and local health and human services programs, including health benefits exchanges, Medicaid expansion, Medicaid managed care, Medicaid program operations, program improvement, and state compliance requirements. A strong understanding of various state and local programs and policies across the country is essential.

The successful candidate will:

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, at least 3+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in Base SAS and Medicaid claims data analysis, strong attention to detail, interest in healthcare reform, and ability to travel 10-20%. Nice-to-have skills include advanced data analytics training, Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, SQL, excellent communication skills, strategic problem solving, and proficiency in MS Office. Overtime flexibility is also preferred.
