Role and Responsibilities
Travel to projects across the US (including Hawaii) and the Caribbean to manage projects.Supervise the physical construction of projects according to contract documents, codes, and compliance requirements.Work with Project Managers to document delays, work-arounds, shutdowns, and tie-ins.Resolve personal disputes on-site; demonstrate leadership and inspiration.Maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors; work effectively with project teams.Ensure quality assurance/control for all MSS scope, schedule.Attend all project inspections.Manage and provide feedback on MSS tool tracking programs.Forecast and manage labor and equipment levels.Organize labor to complete jobs efficiently and on time and budget.Read complex blueprints and installation manuals.Solve complex job-related problems or bring solutions to the team.Liaise with client representatives.Track project progress and report weekly to managers.Manage safety and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.Coordinate daily operations with project managers.Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and labor, ensuring quality and accuracy.Identify and report problems or deficiencies.Interview and select field staff.Attend project meetings, perform safety talks, and conduct employee performance reviews.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Requirements
Proficiency in managing site logistics and contract operations on urban sites.Competence in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.Knowledge of all construction phases, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control.Strong technical and communication skills.Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent.Thorough understanding of HVAC, Ducting, Hydronic piping & Plumbing, with ability to maintain project documents.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Experience with BIM-coordinated system installation.Ability to work with various tools.OSHA 30 certification.Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial/industrial construction.Ability to pass background and drug tests, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in various environmental conditions.Work Environment
Exposure to weather, extreme temperatures, noise, electrical hazards, chemicals, vibration, mechanical parts, and high places.
