Mechanical Sales Engineer - Protolabs : Job Details

Review and validate quote requests with complex or 'off-platform' specifications to ensure high-quality order intake and determine appropriate outcomes based on manufacturing capabilities within the Protolabs Network. Manage risk by ensuring commitments to product fulfillment align with manufacturing capabilities, pricing, and product offerings of the Protolabs Network. Deliver Design for Manufacturing feedback and provide innovative solutions for customer projects. Serve as a pre-sale and post-sale technical resource on customer calls with Sales and Project Management teams. Collaborate with customers and the Sales team to understand and document customer requirements and project scopes of work for custom manufacturing solutions. Communicate customer requirements to internal stakeholders and global manufacturing suppliers. Provide price estimates for lower-value manufacturing jobs.
