Mechanical FEA Engineer - Marotta Controls : Job Details

Mechanical FEA Engineer is responsible for:All aspects of the thermal and/or mechanical stress analysis of systems: Setting up analysis models while paying close attention to defeaturing and boundary conditions. Running analyses against the customers requirements. Summarizing results into reports and presentations. Performing typical engineering analyses required to support the design including: static and dynamic stress; heat transfer; thermal stress; and fluid flow. Validation of models against test data Knowledge/ Experience:Familiar/experienced with the design, development, qualification, and production of military / aerospace products. Familiar/experienced with military / aerospace / industrial specification and standards. Familiar/experienced with behavior of metals and non-linear materials. Working knowledge with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Windows.
