Responsibilities
Lead multi-disciplinary technical team supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, Rhode Island (NUWC). - Review and approve all mechanical engineering portions of technical data packages related to submarine launcher systems.
- Conduct ship-checks and operation testing on-board and on land based test facilities.
- Develop and conduct submarine crew operational, safety, maintenance and casualty training.
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings of systems
- Complete engineering analysis packagegs for system components through Finite Element Analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil or structural engineering.
- Ability to maintain a DOD Secret Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- Physically capable to conduct ship checks on United States Submarines
- At least 7+ years experience in upgrading current and developing new submarine launcher systems.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
