Mechanical Engineer - PPL Corporation : Job Details

This position will be located at our EW Brown Generating Station. This position provides boiler, pressure vessel and power piping mechanical engineering support to operations and maintenance on a routine basis. Develops plans, assessments, material specifications, and scopes of work to maintain equipment in accordance with industry best practices and applicable codes/regulations. Exercise of professional judgment is required in the performance of the assigned tasks. The position will be filled based on the selected candidate's experience level: Engineer I, II, III or Principal. Responsibilities Identifies opportunities to improve and/or sustain plant equipment availability and reliability. Acts as the day-to-day mechanical engineer and as project manager, maintaining both capital and O&M funded project timelines and budgets.
