Our client, a leader in laboratory automation, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Chesterfield, MO
Pay Range: $36 per hour
What's the Job?
Design, calculate, build, and test various hardware components for laboratory automation systems.
Research products online and provide CAD drawings and technical documents, including assembly instructions and bill of materials.
Assist in assembling prototypes and running tests while participating in design reviews.
Collaborate with engineers, maintenance teams, scientists, and vendors both locally and remotely.
Work independently and as part of different project teams onsite at the Chesterfield, MO campus.
What's Needed?
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
1 - 3 years of experience in a related field.
Proficiency in CAD/Solidworks and PDM.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Experience with safety, project management, fabrication print best practices, and 3D printing.
