Role: Mechanical Engineer Location: Decatur IL - Onsite roleDaily responsibilities:

• Support the manufacturing facility to rapidly resolve light fabrications quality and velocity issue
• Work on longer term engineering changes to improve quality and velocity.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required but open to associate's degree with 10+ years of experience if the candidate is the right one.
• 5-7 years' experience required.

Top three required technical skills:

• CAD modeling (PTC Creo preferred).
• FEA (Creo Simulate preferred).
• Cost modeling experience.
• Design for manufacturing experience.
• APQP experience.

Skills that that are nice to have:

• Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative environment and to communicate effectively in cross functional teams
• Experience collaborating with suppliers.
• Team player and detail oriented.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics, and computer-generated reports
