Mechanical Engineer - Oxford Solutions : Job Details

Oxford Solutions has a new opportunity available with a client for a Mechanical Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in consulting engineering with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. In this role, you'll contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of commercial, municipal, and industrial facilities. Essential Functions

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for new construction and renovation projects
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts
• Develop construction documents using AutoCAD
• Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders
• Provide engineering support through all project phases-from concept through construction
• Ensure designs meet code compliance and client specifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Experience with consulting engineering in the commercial, municipal, or industrial sectors
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Familiarity with Carrier HAP or other HVAC load calculation software preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
