About the role
The Repair Integration Engineer will be responsible for collecting and preparing repair development data, evaluating new bearing part numbers for repair processes, and supporting machine repair and maintenance in the shop. The role involves leading teams for equipment installation, conducting process evaluations, supporting quality standards, and owning project integration from start to finish.
Responsibilities include
- Developing and managing repair data flow throughout manufacturing processes.
- Ensuring repair quality and compliance with FAA regulations.
- Improving manufacturing efficiency and repair turn times.
- Leading new repair process development and transition to production.
- Performing process capability and measurement system analyses.
- Supporting quality and repair station operations to meet schedules and standards.
- Leading new equipment and process launches, and participating in engineering problem-solving teams.
- Performing troubleshooting and repair of equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interpreting blueprints and schematics, and ensuring detailed documentation of repair processes.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read complex technical publications and interpret blueprints.
- High proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP systems and FAA regulations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of geometric tolerance practices.
- Must be a US citizen or legally authorized foreign worker in an ITAR environment.
