Mechanical Engineer - Industrial Products - Jasper Engines : Job Details

D&W is looking for a hands-on, motivated, Application Engineer to join its growing Industrial Products team, supporting a diverse customer base. This engineer will assist manufacturers in the industrial, consumer goods, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical markets with improving the efficiency, reliability and capacity of their compressed air and blower/vacuum systems. This Application Engineer will participate in D&W's technical and product training programs. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical, design and sales support for industrial air compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps and other industrial products.
• Interact directly and indirectly with customers remotely and in the field in a wide range of manufacturing industries to provide application and troubleshooting assistance.
• Analyze industrial compressed air systems for inefficiencies and improvements. Provide technical reports including data, comprehensive analysis and recommendations.
• Design various systems and packages. Provide complete and thorough documentation including BOM's, SOP's, drawings and specifications.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or related field or relevant experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated, positive/professional attitude, with the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industrial products and ability to provide technical and sales support to customers and D&W personnel.
