Mechanical Engineer/Doc Control Co-Op - Ultralife Corporation : Job Details

With guidance of the NPD Engineering group, the co-op role will take on a variety of independent and team projects to support and improve the manufacturing processes of our products. These projects will span across all NPD and Manufacturing departments and will focus on increasing overall productivity. Interaction will be necessary with all levels of NPD personal and management. This position will requires both a team player and the skills and self-discipline to work independently. Scope of developmental opportunities:Technical writing of process work instructions. Create as-built drawing. Proficient with Solidworks drawings and operation, also proficient in Draftsight (DWG's)Process development and improvement. Standardization and documentation of existing fixtures. Improve existing fixtures and tooling. Design new fixtures and tooling. Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
