Information Position Summary The Mechanical Engineer 2 Independently develop a variety of single and multi-discipline construction projects, from project start to project closeout, by utilizing outside design professionals, and working with other disciplines and tradespeople to ensure project integrity. Projects include but are not limited to HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems. Work also involves the review of designs by design professionals for conformity with Universitys design standards, PASSHE rules, regulations, building codes and safety laws including but not limited to ASHRAE, UCC, LEED, and NFPA. At times may develop small designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat and prepare building permit applications. Utilize and adhere to the SRU Administrative Program Standards to administer capital improvement projects.
