Job Title: MEP Mechanical Engineer

Salary: $130k (negotiable DOE)

Location: NY - Long Island (Islip)

Industry: MEP

I've teamed up with an established and reputable company on Long Island, who are looking for an MEP Engineer to join their thriving corporation.

Established over 50 years ago, they have a strong background in MEP, infrastructure development, public projects, in accordance with environmental regulations and restoration.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Design of HVAC systems including mechanical and heating systems, air conditioning and boilers

Field inspections for MEP, sprinkler systems and electrical systems (security)

Prepare engineering drawings and specifications - all at industry standards

Work closely with Project Managers and address any technical issues -all whilst giving ongoing communication to clients on project updates

Experience:

Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred) or extensive experience

Experienced in AutoCAD

PE License (preferred)

5 years in MEP - HVAC

Mechanical design experience (essential)
