Mechanical Design Engineer - L&T Technology Services : Job Details

Team Purpose

Design and develop low-pressure fuel systems for large diesel engines, with a focus on reliability and durability.

Task Breakdown

• Lead design of fuel priming pumps, transfer pumps, and filter bases
• Serve as primary contact for assigned engine families
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for system-level troubleshooting
• Analyze warranty data to identify and resolve issues
• Drive Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) initiatives
• Address plant inquiries on assembly, quality, and performance
• Collaborate with suppliers on design and process enhancements
• Update technical drawings with detailing teams

Candidate Requirements

Experience & Education

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
