Mechanical Design Engineer - PDS Tech : Job Details

Lets go to work . . . Im needing a Mechanical Design Engineer in Erie, PA. Successful candidate will be responsible for the structural design of industrial high voltage cabinets - sheet metal fabrications used to house high voltage electrical equipment used in the propulsion system of mining vehicles and locomotives. Additional duties will be: Designing mechanical enclosures for electrical equipment assemblies for shock and vibration loads. - Design of sheet metal fabrications. - Designing cast and molded components. - Design of machined and fabricated components. - GD&T and weld specifications on drawings. - - QUALIFICATIONS: - - - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field. - 5 years demonstrated experience in the field of electrical mechanical packaging and thermal design. - - - Strong NX, Ansys Workbench experience - - Long term, - - onsite - - , contract assignment in Erie, PA.
