Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Permanent Mechanical Design Engineer to join our vibrant team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, innovative environment where your ideas and contributions directly impact the business. You will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and products, as well as maintaining an active role in all stages of the manufacturing process, from conception to final product delivery.Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, and soliciting observations from operators.
  • Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods, testing finished products and system capabilities, and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
  • Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, and requesting special services as needed.
  • Maintain product data base by writing computer programs and entering data.
  • Complete projects by training and guiding technicians.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in Design for Manufacturing, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant Engineering Software.
  • Extensive experience in creating and interpreting Engineering Drawings and 3D Modeling.
  • Familiarity with Mechanical Systems, CNC Routers, Manufacturing Processes, and Tooling design.
  • Experience with PLC, Control systems, CNC Machine Operation, and Quality Control.
  • Strong knowledge of Machine Design and Product Design.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Familiarity with industry safety standards and procedures.
