Job Type Full-time Description Who We Are Golden Queen Mining Co., LLC (the Company ) operates a gold and silver, open pit, heap leach operation on its Soledad Mountain property, located just outside the town of Mojave in Kern County in southern California. The Project uses conventional open pit mining methods and the cyanide heap leach and Merrill-Crowe processes to recover gold and silver from crushed, agglomerated ore. Who You Are You are a dependable team member who can work independently and can assist the company in achieving goals. You are a self-starter with high work standards who can take and follow direction. You are willing and able to work rotating shifts and have no issue with working in inclement weather. You have experience with diagnosing and the maintenance of heavy construction and/or mining equipment. You have experience with troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and engines, assess failure analysis, and perform major component teardowns. Most importantly, you are a go-getter who is eager to learn new skills and grow with the company. As the Mechanic III, you would diagnose, service, and repair large mining equipment on site. You would report to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor. This is a safety sensitive position. What You Do
